She shows great maturity and exceptional quality in her work.

After completing her MBA in human resources, she started her career as an assistant consultant. Gradually she gained experience as well as credence in the field of talent acquisition. This is when she started to mull the idea of using her skills and start her own company. Worth-IT-Consulting was born soon after as an executive search firm with special expertise in Retail, Manufacturing, Textile, Auto Components, Media, and Fashion.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

Worth It! Consulting is a group of professionals with extensive experience of building teams and a proven track record in Resourcing and Operations. Our core business is “Executive Search” in Non-IT sector across India. We are into partnering with companies at various stages of evolution be it Start-up, Growth or Transformation. We are strong on our Headhunting and Mapping abilities to help companies hire the best people for their organization. We directly and exclusively work with the owners/top management/top HR professionals of the companies for their Leadership, Senior, and Middle Management Manpower Requirements.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

Recruitment/Executive Search or in simple words – ‘Hiring’ is the most critical part of any business/corporate. The ‘Human Resource’ manages other vital resources – Money, Machine, and Material. If the Human resource is not right then other resources falling in place is totally ruled out. Hiring these days has become a difficult craft to learn and apply, as most of the organizations have become very critical and thoughtful about the talent they are hiring because they know the blunders of a wrong hire, a simple wastage of time, money and efforts, and, on the other hand, competent candidates have many opportunities more than ever before, so to get them hooked demands right approach and skilled convincing. In such a scenario, the job of a consultant is extremely important to provide the right resource in right time. Indian market is flooded with trillions of recruitment consulting firms but the value is delivered only by few. After investing 10 plus years in the recruitment domain, I could decipher the code of right hiring and so launched my firm that could strike a win-win situation for a company and the candidate, a team that could synergize with clients’ efforts of labor search and eventually contribute to their business goals.

What is your life mantra?

Where There is Will, There is a Way! A strong willed person has the perk of choosing his destiny.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

When you start new in an already established and organized market, where big names enjoy monopoly, when you are one among mushrooming competition…there to make noise of your existence, to reach out to clients, convince them about your services, how different you are from your competition and what value you would bring to the table are quite scary and tough questions. And when your service is premium with that premium price then the road to success seems to be under construction always! So I had to actually en-cash my networking in the market, my references were quite strong so it helped me a lot to launch myself and then with our impeccable services we could win over new clients. However, the learning, which I got, is if you do your best honestly then you are definitely reciprocated.

How did you overcome those challenges?

Every challenge needs to be studied deeply to identify the possible solutions. In the fiercely competitive arena of recruitment, we had to carefully identify our target clients, who could understand our different approach to hiring and the following results. References and market standing helped a lot in cracking maiden deals. Our multiple levels candidate screenings, in-depth evaluation of presented profiles, crisp and detailed information on the candidates, quick TAT, 24X7 clients servicing etc. did rest of the job.

How is your firm different from the competition?

We deliver value to our clients by offering them only few but bang on profiles, quick TAT and 24X7 client support. The screening of the candidates by us is so robust and detailed that only ‘Star Profiles’ are sent to the clients. With only best profiles reaching our clients in least possible time, hiring becomes efficient and effective.

When we talk about our work force, it is very different! Our firm majorly employs ‘Mompreneurs’ – Talented and Ambitious Moms who want to perfectly balance work and family, who want to make it Big!

Worth It! Consulting, apart from making business and monetary sense to my team, gives them a sense of professional accomplishment, a sense of achievement, boosting self-esteem of these working moms. Their expertise and quality of work beats those of top performers in the industry as they are strongly driven! These women are ticking again, back in action! I can feel their euphoria! The journey has just started, I aim to spread word about my firm as much as I can so that I can reach to many aspiring Mompreneurs and touch their life in a positive way.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

We ensure that our business funds itself!

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

Being in the ‘Hiring’ industry, we understand the human motivators and so there we have an advantage. The basic approach is to help your people in the balancing act, the act of work-life balance. Human beings, most of them, struggle with work and family and if this problem is solved then more than half of the battle of attrition is won. We encourage practices like Flexi-working hours, work-from-home options and help our employees to give their best. A happy person is a motivated and an engaged employee. More than knowledge/experience, it is the ‘Drive’ that drives you.

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

Ownership – Do as if you own it!

Tons of Hard-work – Nothing comes for free!

Discipline – nothing can equate it.

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

For our business, the guru mantra is – NETWORKING. Therefore, we use anything and everything that connects people – Social Media, Professional networks, job portals, reference networks etc.

Share any one habit which you think makes you more productive.

Reading/watching/talking anything motivational encourages me to do that ‘More’ always.

Share any one habit which you wish to change in yourself.

People Pleaser. You cannot please everyone, so invest yourself on those who care.
