Vineet Saini did Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) from Punjab Technical University. Later, she went on to pursue Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Symbiosis institute of Management Studies. Over the years, Vineet has accumulated vast experience in the field of human resource by working for Mayflower Innovative Solutions and Chitkara University. While searching for a laptop to gift her husband, she realized that the process of comparing prices online is time-consuming. Along with Jaspreet Singh & Sarvjeet Singh, the trio conceptualized comparometer, which is a smart shopping website / app that compares the prices amongst the top estores & the local retailers in a city.

Comparometer is a smart shopping website / app that compares the prices amongst the top estores & the local retailers in a city in one click. Briefly, it does the online & offline price comparison. For example, you are looking to buy an iPhone 6s & confused about where to buy it from. Visit comparometer, it’ll compare & showcase the prices offered by estores like Amazon, Flipkart Etc. & also at what price the local retailers in your city selling the same model for. Thus, making your decision-making faster. It also curates products from multiple websites like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Jabong, Babyoye, Healthkart, Dogspot etc. to get the shopper, a maximum variety of products in one click. For example – you are looking to buy a bedsheet. At comparometer, all the bedsheets from our associated estores will be listed on one page. All in all – There is no need to download multiple shopping apps in your phone when comparometer gets you all of them in one. It saves your time while looking for the cheapest price online & calling up offline retailers.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

The inability of find the best price or variety of a product on a single shopping website. This would lead to wasting a lot of time & mobile data while hopping websites to finalize 1 product. This inspired us to look for a smarter way out to make the online shopping experience fast & easy.

What is your life mantra?

Stand up for what you believe in, even if it means standing alone!

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

With God’s grace, we didn’t face any major challenges till date even while operating from a small city. The only little challenge is doing the right kind of branding for comparometer with limited funds. However, our organic traffic & returning customer of 30% keeps us going strong without any branding.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

We bootstrapped & were later angel funded by Jaarvis Accelerators.
