He started Wings travel management as a car renting company and leapfrogged into a diverse range of travel solutions. The company currently has 600 team members and more than 5000 associates’ partners.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

Transportation service driven by technology. We are in to mass transportation segment and we are incorporating technology to make it scaleable and global, we provide end-to-end solutions to corporates for their mass transportation needs and employee transportation in multiple shifts over 24 hrs period 24 x 7. We are India biggest players in the segment with team strength of 600 plus people catering to Pan India client base of more than 70 MNC clients and more than 5000 individual customers and SME and smaller corporations .Innovative services in our domain like Wings Sakhi ( women empowerment ) , Wings Rainbow ( for LGBT empowerment ) , Wings Jai Jawan ( ex-army people empowerment ) , Malak chalak scheme ( empowerment of drivers to become entrepreneurs ) Bus pooling and car pooling ( to reduce burden on Environment )

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

Passion for travel
Wanted to contribution towards transportation infrastructure development which was weak then
Making travel and transportation commute cheaper and affordable to the common man. Mobility for everyone. Injecting technology which leads to benefit to mankind and rapid growth to touch g

What is your life mantra?

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Fund raise during the initial stages and now fund raiser for the big global leap.

How did you overcome those challenges?

Teamwork, Empowerment, making team belong to Wings Family. For offshore projects technology to scale up rapidly thus injecting efficiency.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

We have not yet gone in for external funding and PE. We have been managing the business on our internal accruals. Currently banks fund us for your requirements.

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

Ability to introduce new products and services, Patience, Persistence, Passion, Partnerships, change with times.

Anger management. Anger is to be avoided in professional areas. We tend to make mistakes when we decide on important matter when you are angry and not on control of your mind.

One most important lesson that you have learnt till now:

Over trust and over delegation in business.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

Take company globally; make it India’s biggest MNC in our Technology driven transportation sector making it a true made in India story.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

Yes would do it differently. Time is of essence. We have to change with time and be in tune with time and current trends to be in the market.
