Anshul is truly passionate about solving a real problem. He always uses to order online and never get his packages delivered when he was actually at home. An Ex-student of Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Roorkee, Anshul came across an idea to build a platform to take advantage of the booming e-commerce industry. He wanted to help the online shoppers to ease them with the facility to get packages delivered at their desired location when they are available to accept the delivery.

He always had a knack of algorithms and building programs that can solve complex problems faced in daily lives. Currently he is on the mission to solve the real problems faced by online shoppers. It is a known fact that most of these users face a hassle when they do not get their packages delivered on time. He is now focusing on marketing the product in order for it to gain traction.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

DoorGuy is an on-demand mobile service that provides package delivery on your schedule.

It’s not uncommon for people to send packages to a work address when they can’t be home for the delivery guy to show up mid-day. But it’s pretty difficult to lug all those packages back home from the office. So, DoorGuy was born.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

How often have you ordered something online for your home and delivery arrived when you were at office or some place other than your home? This problem is most common with people like me who live alone. Everybody loves shopping online except for the part where you actually get the product when you are at the delivery location.

Either you get a miss delivery call, packages delivered to someone other than you(in most cases – neighbors) or you get to spend your weekends miles away from your home at some package pickup house. So after getting frustrated from a couple of missed deliveries myself, I decided to do something about this & came up with DoorGuy.
