Prior to Labsense, Rana Dutta was the CEO Designate for a British Technology and Media Company, managing operations in 3 continents and 6 countries with 1100 plus clients. He has leadership experience of more than 10 years in Start-ups and Asia Pacific Leadership Role in a Fortune 500 IT company. Being an entrepreneur at heart, Rana Dutta founded many startups including Movinture and Labsense with its flagship Health on the go brand Tiyo, which brings a change in which the Doctor and Patient interacts in the future.
Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.
Our main platform offers seamless Doctor – Patient Interaction. Apart from that, we have products intertwined with the main platform including SAAS, content, and analytics for Doctors and Clinics.
What inspired you to build the above product/ service?
Healthcare in India is at nascent stages. Despite continuous focus and relentless policy updates, India still lags at the bottom of the pyramid when it comes to affordable, available and well informed medical care. Primary Healthcare an essential piece of the building block for a healthy nation is fragmented and despite improvements in communication it still largely been driven by uninformed choices. With the digital era, there is a disruption that is happening in this market and Labsense with its flagship Health on the go brand Tiyo is poised to be one the biggest catalyst, which will bring in the change the way Doctor and Patient interacts in the future.
What is your life mantra?
Keep innovating. Be relentless. Don’t stop.
What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?
Consumer Internet is evolving and bringing changes every day. The biggest challenge is in catering to the needs of the early adopters and the baby boomers, who are distinct in their way how they use mobility for their healthcare needs. Behavioral patterns change every day and we need to keep responding to those changes. Being Adaptive is no more a choice.
How did you overcome those challenges?
Once we knew what we have to offer and we ourselves wore the shoes of our customers and used each of the products and services that we planned to offer we figured the ways to make them acceptable for the community.
Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.
We have recently raised 120,000 USD from veteran entrepreneurs from the Middle East. Apart from that, we are very close to closing our Pre-Series A funding.

We use almost all Google Products and Apps. AWS. Analytics like Comscore, Segment, Optimizely etc.
