Prateek Rana pursued Bachelor of Hotel Management from ASAN memorial. He went on to work for Kingfisher Airlines as Guest Services Supervisor. After his brief experience at Kingfisher Airlines, he worked for Biocon as Senior Executive for Customer Relationship team.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?
A firm conviction that there can be better and organized solution to household laundry while maintaining a sustainable business model.
What is your life mantra?
Work hard, work smart. Your employees are going to do wonders for you. Keep them on the top.
What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?
Setting up an awesome team was the biggest challenge and specially if blue collar workforce is at the backbone of key operations, things become even more difficult.
Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.
We are bootstrapped with personal savings being put into the business. We have sufficient revenue flow to support our expansion plans.
How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

What are your plans for next 3 years?
We want to make LaundryAnna a household name. We already have a profitable model and we will continue to expand our operations in Bangalore and other cities.
If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?
What are your top three getaway destinations?
I hardly get time to travel that frequently but if I do, Langkawi, my hometown in Uttar Pradesh and Goa.
