Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.
TopRankers.com is a one-stop solution for students to prepare for competitive exams. We have products for all stakeholders, be that students, teachers or coaching institutes. We, at TopRankers.com, provide comprehensive content and study materials for students preparing for various competitive examinations like IBPS PO, Clerk, RRB, SSC CGL, CLAT, CTET etc. Sensing the trend of more and more examinations going online, we make sure to provide the best platform to students for competitive examinations preparation coupled with features to raise the bar of their performance.
What inspired you to build the above product/ service?
The idea of “Digital India” had a major role in inspiring me to come up with this initiative. Competitive examination market has been and still is one of the most dynamic markets of all times. My major intention was to contribute to the digital education space and elevate it to a different level altogether.

I always feel we should have good people around who share same vision with you.
What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?
In B2C, we started TopRankers.com as a free site acquiring thousands of users. Lately, we introduced exclusive paid products on Bank PO, SSC and CLAT exams. The challenge here was to make users pay for these products. One more challenge was to keep acquiring customers after making it paid, that too at a faster rate than what we used to acquire when our offerings were free.
In B2B, We provide our services in prominent Tier I and Tier II cities of the country. We work with different coaching centers in these cities. To synthesize a product catering the diverse needs of various coaching centers and colleges was a challenge for us.
How did you overcome those challenges?
In the B2C side, we did a rigorous market research and identified the features, which will make customers, buy our products. Based on our survey about the kind demand for the products and challenges they faced while using them, is what we have designed Top Rankers. Being engaged with these students helps us enhance our products, which in turn helps us to acquire them as our customers.
In the B2B side, we worked with many coaching institutes and provided them the product for free to make a real time test and understand the needs. The product was then developed further based on feedbacks from coaching centers and gradually evolved as a unique platform, which could meet up their expectations. Lately, others accepted the product with great responses.
Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.
We have raised a funding of 4.5 Crore INR in two rounds from Careernet Consulting and Ideation Initiatives Pvt. Ltd.
How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?
We have a great team who are dedicated and passionate to work with us. We train them well, respect them, speak to them periodically about the vision and keep them happy.
According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?
According to me, the three qualities, which an individual must have to achieve success, are:
- Confidence to take up a risk
- Ability to take downfalls in the right spirit
- Urge to learn from downfalls and grow

What are your top three getaway destinations?
I love adventure sports like trekking, rafting, and very fond of beaches, which is why I love Leh Ladakh and Goa so much. I am also an admirer of nature and serenity, which is why Switzerland is my favorite
