What inspired you to build the above product/ service?
Fitness in today’s times is perceived as being SIZE ZERO, most of us don’t find it realistic enough, hence give up on it before we even begin. The H.O.W. forum is a community in the making that focusses on real-time holistic wellness. It is about building strength, endurance, flexibility and stamina.
What is your life mantra?
Health, fitness and wellness is a choice that we make for ourselves.
What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?
As they say, the first step is the most important, however, the most challenging! Generating awareness about wellness and getting people/organisations to take the first step towards it is probably the most challenging part.
How did you overcome those challenges?
By keeping the core foundation strong. Most of us would agree on the importance of Health Fitness and Wellbeing in urban lifestyles. Reaching out and generating awareness enough, such that it leads to prompt action is the simplest way to overcome all challenges.
Does The H.O.W. Forum conduct wellness workshops/activities only for women ?
The online community is Women focussed, However, Yoga and wellness workshops/activities/programs are conducted for a mixed group comprising of both men and women.
Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.
We define investments a bit differently. The interest, followed by action taken by organisations towards investing in the health and wellbeing of their employees, is rewarding enough for our business, and that’s critical. A recent few to name would be CapGemini, MindTree, Harman etc.
How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?
The H.O.W. Forum is in its nascent stages. The USP of my business is that I personally conduct all my workshops. Hence, brain drain is probably a challenge scheduled for the future…and one shall cross the bridges as they come!

Answer in less than 50 words

- One mistake you believe every individual must avoid
Setting unrealistic goals/idols especially in terms of health can be hugely demotivating for a taking the first step towards building a wellness regime for self.
- One most important lesson that you have learnt till now
You are uniquely YOU…respect it
What are your plans for next 3 years?
I would want the next 3 years to be packed back to back with workshops on Yoga and wellness and if possible culminate it with a grand , inter-corporate YOGATHON!
If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?
My career stemmed out from myself being a whopping 94 kgs and dropping over 30 kgs with no rigid diets, personal trainers, extensive workouts etc. Looking back I realise that my journey adds a lot of value to my work, hence, would not want to do much differently, other than generating awareness on health and wellness a bit earlier in life.

Mumbai (beach and friends), Salzburg (musical tranquillity) and Cape town (Paradise on earth)
