With his great ardor for business development and relationship management, Bineet Desai has led big organizations like Synapse Advisory Ventures (P) Limited and Standard Chartered Bank as Director.
After completing MBA in finance from NMIMS and ICFAI, he began his journey as Executive assistant and got opportunity to work with different people and understand the sphere of technology. While working in an African country, he grew understanding of corporate finance, investor relations and more. Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.
GO HERO GO is a free, 24/7 chat-based app service that works as your personal travel assistant! We use artificial (AI) + human intelligence to make travel life easier – from booking flights / hotels / restaurants / cabs / rail / bus ticket to planning a holiday and more. We make it all look simple while keeping it personal and delightful.
What inspired you to build the above product/ service?
A traveller is spending way too much time to browse multiple web-sites / travel apps to get the best deal. At the end of it all, he/she may still not get the best deal. Also there is tonnes of travel data available but the traveller is unable to filter relevant content for his specific travel needs. There is a clear gap in customer expectations which requires to be filled – GoHeroGo takes on the burden of accomplishing tasks on their behalf, thereby freeing up their time and costs & focus on more important aspects of life like work, family and recreation and also simultaneously saving costs.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?
The most important challenge so far has been the rate of technology implementation & providing a major marketing boost. The key constraint being that we are Currently boot-strapped & funding would be the key to overcome these challenges immediately.
How did you overcome those challenges?
We are currently working on :
(1) AI powered by NLP at the front end to take customer queries, which will ensure scalability in the least possible time & staff requirement.
(2) Backend proprietary Booking Engine built using multiple API integration & Services & CRM.
Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.
We are currently boot-strapped & are seeking investments from angel investors for seed funding.
How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?
Operational Staff :
We are working on proprietary technology which once implemented will reduce dependence on human intervation to a bare minimum. The NLP + Backend Booking Engine built using multiple API integration & Services + CRM will take care of 90% of the requests received from customers thru a STP (Straight Thru Processing) set-up.
Key management team :
Shall be given a stake in the Company (sweat / stock options) in-order for them to participate in the Company’s growth.

Take the risk – We never know the outcome of our efforts unless we actually do it. At the end we wouldn’t regret failure, but would regret not trying.
• One mistake you believe every individual must avoid:
People just don’t start putting dreams to actions – There are many factors that go into become a success in both your professional and personal life but the one factor that is required is taking action. Most people miss out on reaching their full potential because they never start. They are always preparing, planning and waiting for the best time to start.
• One most important lesson that you have learnt till now:
Be Resilient : Things rarely work out the way you planned and there will always be distractions and stumbling blocks that you have to deal with when you are on your road to success. The key point to remember is to persist and to develop the courage to move on even when everyone around you is telling you it is ok to give up. This does not mean stubbornly holding on to your original plan but rather continuing to pursue your goal as long as the reasons for doing so is still valid.

Work on GHG & take the project to a new growth level, yoy.

Start a Business sooner as I would have least responsibilities with maximum risk taking capabilities
