ReconScouts Energies’ product, Hydro, is a radical combination of already proven technologies that was made by tweaking the system design.
Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.
HYDRO – A zero emission clean energy generator. Our technology, is a radical combination of already proven technologies. The core operation is a hybrid design of different thermodynamic cycles. This thermodynamic cycle is closed loop and offers no exhaust/emission. By tweaking the system design, we have improved the overall efficiency by a landslide.
The features our product will offer:
- No carbon emissions.(No exhaust = No pollution)
- Fully autonomous.
- Clean organic fuels.(No combustion)
- Minimal refuelling required.(HYDRO fuel consumption) < (10% of a diesel generator)
- No secondary pollution such as noise.
- Product longevity (Minimal moving components)
What inspired you to build the above product/ service?
Borderline Obsession/intense passion for engineering. Being a military geek, I used to build aircraft models as a hobby. The essence of creation and design struck me like a lightning. Along with ever growing hunger for engineering and couple of years of industrial experience, my ideas shifted towards aircraft manufacturing , basically to introduce a disruptive technology for power generation. As the idea kept evolving, my priorities shifted to energy industry because of the alarming pollution levels and climate issue. I wanted to make a social impact and since then have been working on the same.
What is your life mantra?
“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”
What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?
Working with zero resources.
How did you overcome those challenges?
Zero resources meant minimum options or sometimes no options at all. But somehow, I have managed to deliver a near perfect result with zero resources. Can’t wait to work with actual resources.
Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.
We have been bootstrapping since inception. For our first block model prototype we received baby funds from family members. At present, we are at a nascent stage, planning to build a full scale marketable prototype and are trying to raise funds for the same.
How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?
Employees should spring from their bed in the morning and want to come to work, knowing they are making a difference in the world. Precise understanding of an individual’s skills and passion and bridging the gap with adequate training would result in an enhanced asset for the organization. Introducing frequent challenges helps an employee to be motivated, think along creative lines to solve problems, and grow with reputed streak of successful accomplishments.

What are your plans for next 3 years?
Post investment process will be to see that rapid prototyping happens and we penetrate market with industrial grade generators. ReconScouts Energies’ short vision is to acquire immediate industrial giants as customers and help them reduce their energy cost to the minimum and significantly reduce carbon emission levels, converting the most polluting sectors into green sectors. Our goal is to initiate traction and full-scale production of marketable products.
