Mobilox is a super specialist for Mobility Solutions focusing on the needs of Marketers, CIO, CTO and Department Head in India. In the last 3.5 years we have executed 100+ mobility projects across 14 sectors and 50+ clients.

Mobilox helps them arrive at the right solution. We handhold our client to conceptualise, develop, deploy, market, monitor for their mobility initiatives.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

Every senior professional in India was aware of the reach and potential of Mobile in India and were sure that their businesses have to be on mobile since all their customers are also on mobile.

However many were not sure of which format of engagement should they implement. Since we understood all aspects of mobility (Apps, SMS, Voice, Games, WAP) and saw an opportunity of starting mobility service which helps client conceptualise a custom made mobility solution best suited for his business.

What is your life mantra?

Life is full of opportunities. Just keep your eyes open.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Building a second line was the biggest challenge. There are many people available in the market to do a job but very few who will share a vision. You need a good second line to scale your business and also maintain a good quality of service at the same time. Dedicate time and effort to hire the best second line.

How did you overcome those challenges?

I would not say that we have completely cracked the code.

I have realised not everyone is made for startups. Experience is always good, however with experience comes rigidity, which can hamper a startup. We are now investing more time in interviewing people for key positions. We try making them aware of the how a startup really works and our experience till date. We also ask them to spend a day or two in our office to check how things happen. Post which we take a call.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

The business does not have any external investors.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

People need incentive to keep working with you. And the biggest incentive is challenging work. Keep giving newer challenges to your resources and appreciate them for the good work and they shall stay with you.

However as you scale up, there would still be many who would leave the company. The only way to avoid brain drain is to develop processes within the company. It might sound boring, you will also see a lot of resistance from employees and many might feel its counter productive, but implement it and enforce it for the betterment of the company in the long run. Also strive to make your company process dependent and not people dependent.

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?
