Vikrant is an enterprising person and a team player who seeks motivation from real-world problems. He has done M Tech from IIT Delhi, and MBA from HEC Paris. Prior to Qikship, he was working as an IES officer with Indian Railways in Operations and Management.

Qikship was conceptualized to solve the issues that people face problems when they try to send couriers. Vikrant’s aim is to provide a technology based solution for all the logistic requirements and he believes that sending stuff should be as easy as making a phone call. He founded Qikship in September 2015 with $200k investment. The company employs over 50 employees including 30 pickup agents. His real strength is building great teams, as it is the most crucial part in building a great product.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

Qikship is an on demand shipping platform. It is the easiest way to send shipments anywhere in the world on few tap of mobile app.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

Problem people face to send couriers.

What is your life mantra?

To solve the real problems.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Building a great team is the most challenging part.

How did you overcome those challenges?

Meeting great people and discussing the business idea helps a lot to find right team and create a great product.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

Our vision is to make our employees fully satisfied. We let our employees choose the work to keep them fully motivated and passionate.

I use MS excel all the time, Dropbox, Evernote, Skype for the free calling, Zoho, Google calendar etc.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

In next three year our plan is to make Qikship a leading on-demand logistics company, serving all major PINCODEs. Our mission is to provide a technology-based solution for all the logistic requirements and sending stuff as easy as making a phone call.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

If I get a chance to start my career again I would like to do the same things as I did because so far I have enjoyed my journey very much.
