In early 2012, after realizing how difficult it is for a common Indian citizen to recover his family investments, Vikash Jain, then the Finance Manager at Carnation Auto India, came up with the idea of creating a business that helps people in taking an account of all the investments they & their family members have made.

Once he was able to materialize his dream business, he soon left his stable job to run his startup ‘Share Samadhan’ as its director. Share Samadhan is gradually coming into people’s attention and has garnered a decent client base over the past 4 years. Considering the usefulness of his startup, Vikash has firm believes in the great success of Share Samadhan in years to come.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service:

Share Samadhan assists clients in recovering their lost, blocked, or forgotten investment in various financial instruments such as old shares in physical form, mutual funds, insurance, PF, PPF, bank deposits, post office schemes, etc.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

I lost my brother in 2009 and it took me 3 years to recover all his investments in various asset classes since no one was aware of his investments at home. That day I realized that if this can happen with my family then it can happen with anyone. Invest and forget is every home’s affair in our country. Hence I realized the need of having a professional entity to take care of all hassles of client and help them recover their all Unclaimed Investments.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Initially it took a lot of time to convince clients that this kind of service is available wherein we assist them to recover their lost, forgotten, and old investments.

How did you overcome those challenges?

It’s all about communicating with the client in a very settled way. Soon they started to get convinced with our approach of helping them without getting any upfront fees and our fees was linked with success only.

It is self-funded so far. We would look for the investor at an appropriate time.
