Sanjay Kanth has always been known to have a never give up attitude and his determination has been the core reason behind his success in the startup arena. According to him, “V Win only if U Win.”. He aptly balances his Medical Profession and commitment to the company. He has a master of public health from Western Kentucky University.

PujaSanskaram is an ecommerce portal dealing with handicrafts, focussing more on temple crafts. Sanjay oversees development activities and client relations expertise. He has been instrumental in formulating the company’s strategy and building and managing the organization’s developmental centers in India.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

I am representing Puja Sanskaram Pvt Ltd, based out of Bangalore. To tell us a little bit we are a company which is into Temple Crafts made of bronze, brass, wood, marble etc. We have started operations 9 months back, from the past six months we are seeing a good traction from India and abroad with a month on month growth of around 50-60%.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

The crafts segment that we are dealing with is largely un-organized and still there is no one stop platform for getting these items, eg we deal exclusively with brass and wooden idols, which we procure through our vendor, network and deliver it to the location.

There are many vendors in cities who sell these products through their wholesale or retail stores but there is no single place where a customer can look at these items from a varied collection.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Customer satisfaction and customer acquisition since many a times customer want an order to be customized and get it in a way which he specifies There will be a delay in getting the order and we need to convince the customer about sourcing the order or making the order as per requirement,

How did you overcome those challenges?

We realized that customer is the king and we need to satisfy him and keep him engaged and interested in us.

As a startup our attrition is high but we maintain a friendly working environment and give independence to our employees.
