What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

I had always aspired to be an entrepreneur. After working for over 2 years in the USA for a multinational company and understanding how a large organization functions, scales and builds profitability, it gave me the confidence to take the plunge. I had spent my early years in the IT industry and realized that this space was quite cluttered, I consciously wanted to pick an industry that was relatively new and on the cusp of ballooning into something big… digital media just seemed like the perfect fit.

What is your life mantra?

Will try anything – twice!

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Quitting my job with a lucrative pay in the USA and coming back to set up shop in an early stage industry which I didn’t have any knowledge of.

How did you overcome those challenges?

By constantly trying to learn, having a clear focus on talent and taking small calculated risks constantly, also believing in myself and making sure that I give it my all.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

We are bootstrapped

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

We are in a very dynamic industry and the need to evolve is very important, we have a program called #KinnectEDGE which stands for ENHANCED DEVELOPMENT GROWTH ECOSYSTEM this program provides professional as well as personal development for employees. Majorly we provide need based training to employees, they are given the freedom to be versatile and explore different things and not confine them to their job roles, this gives them the liberty to work on things they love or learn things they are interested in which in-turn helps make a more versatile workforce and does not make work monotonous. We also have a theme-based monthly party which is called #KinnectFriday like we recently had one where a few employees came together to form a #KinnectBand and performed for everyone at the office, this keeps the environment lite and keeps employees motivated and well connected.
