Tell us something about yourself. A short introduction

Hi, I’m Pranjal. I wear many hats, but the one that fits best is being the Managing Director at Zealous System. I like to call myself a tech nerd with a filmmaker’s soul, deeply passionate about technology and equally obsessed with movies. For me, every problem is a potential story waiting to unfold, and every solution is a twist that leads us closer to something extraordinary. At my core, I’m just someone who believes in building things that matter with heart, with honesty, and with a bit of rebellion against “the usual way.”

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

It all started with frustration, to be honest. I kept seeing tech solutions that looked fancy but didn’t really solve the client’s real problems. Somewhere between all the buzzwords and tight deadlines, the actual purpose was getting lost. That stayed with me. I didn’t want to start just another company that builds apps or websites; I wanted to create a place where technology actually helps people and brings their ideas to life. That’s how Zealous was born, to close the gap between what people imagine and what actually gets built.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

The toughest part wasn’t building the product or cracking the code; it was building the right team. Finding people who not only understand the vision but also live it every day…that’s rare. Skills can be taught, but mindset and belief systems? That takes time. It took years of missteps, learning from people, parting ways, and eventually creating a tribe that breathes purpose into our work.

How did you overcome initial mindset challenges?

By unlearning more than learning. I made it a habit to walk into every meeting, every project, and every challenge with a learner’s mindset. I became a better listener, embraced humility, and constantly reminded myself that no matter how much I know, there’s always something I don’t. That mindset changed everything; it made me more open, more curious, and less afraid of failure.

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

Patience – because good things take time.

Perseverance – because the road will get tough.

Passion – because without it, even the best idea feels empty.

What is your life mantra?

Whatever you do, do it with your whole heart. If your heart’s not in it, it’s probably not for you. This keeps me grounded and helps me make decisions that I won’t regret later.

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

  • Notion
  • Slack
  • Jira
  • ChatGPT + Midjourney
  • GitHub

Share any one habit which you think makes you more productive.

I wander. Not aimlessly, but with intent. I walk around the office, chat with the team about everything from tech trends to what movie they watched last night. Those conversations often lead to fresh perspectives or unexpected ideas. It’s like innovation in disguise. Some of our best ideas haven’t come from meetings; they’ve come from these casual, honest moments.

Share any one habit which you wish to change in yourself.

I have a habit of trying to perfect things before sharing them. Whether it’s an idea or a product, I wait until I feel it’s just right. But I’ve realized perfection can delay progress. Now, I’m trying to value progress over polish and action over hesitation.

What are your plans for the next 3 years?

Innovation is not a buzzword for us; it’s our heartbeat. Over the next three years, I see Zealous going deeper into AI and emerging technologies. I want to disrupt at least one major industry, particularly education. There’s so much potential to personalize learning, democratize knowledge, and empower students and teachers alike. If we can make even a small dent in how education is delivered globally, I’ll consider it a meaningful success.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

Not really. Every high and low taught me something I needed. The mistakes, delays, and even failures helped me grow. And I wouldn’t trade that learning for anything.

What are your top three gateway destinations?

Australia, Kashmir, and Rishikesh are peaceful, beautiful places that help me recharge.

Share a quote that inspires you the most?

“Patience is a virtue.” In tech, in business, in life, this holds true. Patience gives you space to think clearly, to grow at your own pace, and to build things that last.
