Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.
PayUMoney is a FREE and unique online payments solution for anyone who wants to collect payments in India, be it Individuals, brick & mortar start-ups, Freelancers, Schools, Hotels, Utility companies, Residential societies, Telcos, Insurance companies, traders, retailers etc. PayU money has successfully empowered more than 1 Lakh SMEs, across India till now and helped them grow their business by integrating its state of art technology with their businesses.
What inspired you to build the above product/ service?
India is yet emerging and there’s a phenomenal opportunity to enable every seller and buyer in India to transact online. PayUmoney enables anyone to transact online OR on mobile.
What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?
Everyday is challenging. When challenges cease to exist, there’s no point waking up.
How did you overcome those challenges?
I start every day at 5:30am sharp and hit the sack around 11pm. I am constantly learning how to shut off all noise and deliver. Being productive and present in every living moment, will make you stand apart of the crowd. You’d make a positive dent in the universe.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?
We have an incredible culture. We call our guiding principles “PayU ways”. Discipline, Integrity, Speed are a few which we live by.

Keeping a clear track of my time and reduce all noise.
Eg: every non-urgent call I take only after 7:45pm. Meetings that don’t have an immediate impact on business I keep on weekends or before 10am.
