Most of the startups these days are led by a team of people with years of experience in that particular field. Not often, you find a one-man startup that aims to revolutionize the whole sector. Parag soni and his venture AddToShop is the latest entrant to the booming eCommerce sector. He took cognizance of the ecommerce boom in India and entered this sector with a unique business model.

Right from the start, Parag has been an enterprising person with a desire to achieve something on his own. He also found several voids I the current ecommerce sector, which made his come up with a unique idea. Addtoshop is an ecommerce platform that provides products Demonstration at Shoppers Door Step, who want to touch, see and test the product personally before buying anything. Currently, the startup is based in Indore but plans to launch in other major cities.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

Addtoshop.com is India’s first online Shopping and rental E-commerce Store and App from where customers BUY the products, RENT the Products or Take products DEMO. Consumers also take the opportunity to take products Demonstration before buying or renting anything. this is an innovative and revolutionary concept which not only helps you to purchase the best product in very lowest price and best quality.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

The Inspiration for Addtoshop Comes originally from in Present Situation which is facing every third person. These days we are constantly exposed to celebrity, styling, runway trends and designer labels which very few of us can afford to buy especially in the current context where social media site like facebook and Instagram any many more make your look expire much faster. With addtoshop, we wanted to enable young fashion forward and financially every person to experiment with their styles and keep their look fresh and have fun with top the line designers wear without breaking the wallet.

What is your life mantra?

Live Your Business and be honest to your work and people around you.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

The most challenging part was our Concept to exist in the market and finding right people with a right skill set who work as a team. Becoming an Entrepreneur has been one of the most challenging parts of my journey thus far. The decision to pursue something different which I had to start everything from scratch was one of the difficult phases too.

How did you overcome those challenges?

A lot of experience and work backgrounds of the founding team brings in help to move heavy blocks for creating value. The other challenges include finding the right vendors and connecting them to us. Identify the challenges which are thorns to success and cut off the thorns to make a roadway to success.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

Self-funded at the moment and looking for further investments for expansion.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

Well, faced many situations of brain drain but I think positive in every situation and when I thought of starting addtoshop, I had a clear vision to Create a Platform where everyone can make comfort look fashionable.

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

Appetite for risk-taking with the prepared mind those who stay in their comfort zone never chase big dreams.
Patience and dedication along with the handwork provide path for success.
Never ever be dependent on a particular person or a situation… Always have a back-up plan for each task.

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

We are an online-centric business, so we use simple tools and apps like Whatsapp, Gmail, social media apps, and Google Analytics, LinkedIn and MS-office tools.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

It’s 1095 days total. This is the period when we do our experimentation, make mistakes, explore business plan and discover the correct path and opportunity. We are currently focusing on increasing our customer base and our current set goal is to touch the numbers of 100 Million Indian Users and targeting to get funded by angel investors.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

Not at all, I will start this again with covering all Mistakes which I have done before.
