If you had to face hardship while undergoing a particular service, but managed to overcome it, the chances are very few that you would take it upon yourself to ensure others do not have to face the same scenario. However, OP Godara is one of those few, who strive on doing something for the society. Right from the start Om Prakash has always been a bright student, even though he did not have many resources at his behest. His ingenuity is evident from the several honor and awards received by him throughout his career.

After completing his degree from IIT, Delhi, he went on to pursue his career. However, he always felt that there was something amiss, which he had to rectify. This is where; he conceptualized srJna, a platform that provides innovative, feasible and portable education models mapped to progressive schools.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

SRJNA (सृजन), the name means building creativity. We at SRJNA believe in saving the kids in early age (Specially class I-X) from getting their innovative creativity getting killed by the current system. So here have come up with 200+ innovative, economically feasible & portable Subject Learning Models for Progressive Schools that are worried about the low quality of learning through conventional teaching methods. srJna overcomes and fills this gap by the unique 5D (SEE, TOUCH, FEEL,
PERFORM AND LEARN) experiential learning approach.

This includes experiential learning where students can actually see and feel concepts through physical models, rather than seeing them on a blackboard or a smart screen.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

During my schooling years, the school had almost no infrastructure & poor quality education. I have always been very passionate about bringing ground level changes in quality education. That is why I want to do via SRJNA.

What has been traction and growth from the date of inception till now?

Within 6 months of their first official product launch in Jaipur, The startup has already received customer validation in the form of projects done for two of Jaipur’s reputed schools namely Maharani Gayatri Devi school and The Palace School with annual revenues of over USD 50,000, says Om Prakash.

Approved and Recommended by IITs, IIM and XLRI Jamshedpur, Srjna reached out to 30,000 students in past 10 months via Demos and also qualified for multiple competitions like:

What is your life mantra?

My life mantra is to give back my-self learned experience to the society.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Starting your own work brings about many challenges. When I started my Start up , the most challenging part was to reach out to the right client and convince them.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

“We shall use the funding raised for development of more models, content integration, business development and expansion”, Plan is to expand in other cities of Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR and reach 50,000 students in next 6 months. Also launching our Assessment platform by first week of October, to bring more and more teachers/students online and use high-level analytics to benefit students and provide filtered experiential learning content.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

Not at all. I think I did the right thing at the right time already. i am doing my best .
