However, his true ingenuity came to the forefront when he took the plunge of launching his own startup. Gogretel is network application performance and optimization blog that aims to help website and other application owners to improve technically and keep up with the trends as well as new technologies.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

Gogretel is a complete Google SEO Scan that can be installed directly from wp.org repository, following standard procedure. It is an excellent tool, full of useful SEO-related scans. An additional feature of competitive intelligence is available as a premium product. One user can buy it once just for $64 and can use it in as many websites as they like. This premium feature can analyze competitor URLs and analyze them to figure out optimum value for various SEO factors.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

Many digital marketers use SEO tools to bring traffic to their websites. Such tools crawl any web page and scan its content for keywords along with other technical aspects. These relevant aspects are analyzed and presented to the marketer for insights.

But in WordPress user community there were no such plugins, that can perform these scans in their administration dashboard. Hence, it was quite clear, building such a plugin will definitely help many SEO concerned WP users.

What is your life mantra?

As of now, I try to find out natural mysteries and implement them in math and tech.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

As the plugin was developed in 2 periods, spanning approx 6 months each, the technical part consumed lots of time and energy. For a newbie programmer, it is always difficult to deal with such a complicated project single-handedly. Each programming step brought new challenges and new experiences. Many technical difficulties were faced as new features were introduced while the code base was migrated into object-oriented style. Lastly, to figure out the logic of multi-part keyword analysis from a bulk text became a tedious challenge.

How did you overcome those challenges?

Any programmatic challenge can be overcome just by posting it to stack forums. Before you post, browse the archives, you can find the answer.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

I believe in bootstrapping until one is going to build warplanes Because it allows the founder to set and maintain the vision. The last business I co-founded brought good fortune. Otherwise, it is friends and family investment.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

This project has just been live and promotions are going on. So, there is no registered company yet. But if you are talking about quality challenges posed by western markets. Quality can be met by quality only.

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

Commonly used apps are:

Google apps for business for email and docs.
Ubuntu for desktop and Windows for mobile, as os.

Given a chance, for next 3 years: To convert the current project into a SAAS product for marketers, build a marketing agency for Indian startups, build some innovative projects surrounding mobile Internet and data analysis.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

No, I’m satisfied with whatever I received.

What are your top three getaway destinations?

I don’t find getaway thing comfortable. A long trip to Karakoram and Kumaun ranges in the Himalayas can do.
