Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

CyberChef, a Gurgaon based virtual marketplace for home-cooked meals, launched its operations in Gurgaon, earlier this year. With a view to retaining the virtues of ‘home made food’, it offers perfect meal solutions that cater to a cross section of individuals.

The novel concept of CyberChef provides an impetus to talented & passionate home chefs. The chefs on board, get the opportunity to present specialized menus with uniqueness in taste & cooking style through the platform. The platform connects passionate home chefs with foodies, gourmands, connoisseurs and gastronomists, alike. This is done via classic dishes, selected from a wide variety of cuisines cooked by Home Chefs, delivered at the customer’s doorstep. By partnering with different home chefs each day, we keep the menu exciting and different.

The menu selection ranges from a wide choice of regional Indian cuisine like Punjabi, Lucknawi, Sindhi, Mughlai, South Indian, Bengali, Maharashtrian, etc to International choices such as Chinese, Thai, Italian, Mexican, Lebanese, etc. Plus a huge array of delicious desserts (Malpua Rabdi, Shahi Tukda, Gulab Jamun, Moon Dal Halwa, Choco Crunch Cup, Tiramisu Cup, Mango Delight Cup, etc). So why let yourself be swamped by unhealthy restaurant food options when home cooked food awaits you and is just a call/click away!

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

I have always had a entrepreneurial bent of mind and was not made to work under anyone, I have always wanted to be able to make decisions on my own and to be responsible for the success or less of it, that I achieve . The first few months were tough before the processes could be streamlined and are now scalable. I have had the fortune of meeting more young entrepreneurs like me at many forums and discussing many aspects of business and has been a great learning for me and has given a lot of confidence.

One most important lesson that you have learnt till now:

It’s important to not make you feel that work is a task. Working hard when in office and utilising most of the time with the team working for you makes the day productive for one, and to enjoy a good evening out.
