Innovative ventures, driven by bright ideas often end up revolutionizing that particular sector. The same is true for the startup founded by Neerav Jain. He has always been an enterprising person right from the start of his career. After completing his B.com in business and commerce, he started his career as an export manager at Pepperfry. He then held several key positions at other furniture-based companies gaining ample expertise.

He is known for his business strategies, team management, merchandising and business development. He came to the forefront with his revolutionary venture called CityFurnish. It is a one-stop-solution for Furniture and Furnishings rental in India. Currently, it is operating on in the Delhi and NCR region but has plans to become a pan-India player. Neerav has already received seed funding and is planning for expanding the operation of the company.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

Cityfurnish is revolutionizing the on-demand rental industry in India. We help consumers by fulfilling their temporary furnishing needs, be it home or office. – By offering premium solid wooden furniture and branded appliances, we are making renting cool for the millennial.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

The idea of Cityfurnish originated way back when I was studying in Delhi University and had to move furniture to Delhi and shift back after my graduation. Lack of temporary furnishings solution led to the origin of Cityfurnish.com

What is your life mantra?

If you want to walk fast walk alone, if you want to walk far, walk together.

Determination, Patience, and Purpose of Life

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

I use Zoho, Slack, Skype, Linkedin extensively, and strongly recommend these tools to all startups.

Share any one habit which you think makes you more productive.

I do half n hour yoga every morning and it keeps me energized and more productive whole day long. Apart from that, I love to meet people in person, and to my surprise most of the time, it throws new opportunities and keeps me motivated.

Share any one habit which you wish to change in yourself.

I am a perfectionist and expect the same from my team as well. This is one thing which I feel is good for me but builds a lot of pressure on co-workers. Therefore, I would like to change this so that I can become a better team player.

My plans for next 3 years are to develop Cityfurnish  into most trustworthy and respected name in on-demand rental industry. Subsequently, expand Cityfurnish to other countries and verticals as well.

I will start little earlier
