Duffl is a peer to peer fashion re-sale and rental marketplace which allows users to monetize their wardrobe in seconds and allows others to either buy or rent items from the site while we handle everything from doorstep pick up, quality check, laundry, packaging, pan India shipments, payments and even hassle free returns

It started from a personal pain point and on extensive research we realized it was a an issue everyone faced and there was a huge gap that needed to be filled.

Overcoming the mentality of “who will wear second hand clothes”. There is a long way to go, and all we need to do is, be patient and keep at it. But the response we have gotten so far has been, simply put, awesome . It’s not long before collaborative fashion becomes a trend on its own

It’s all about how well you execute your idea and how well you understand your customers’ needs and wants. At the end of the day every customer expects convenience clubbed with superior service. So it doesn’t matter whether you serve 5000 or 500, ensure each one of the customers is satisfied and most importantly, be willing to refer your service to another. As far as we are concerned, that’s the biggest recognition. And that is what we work towards, everyday.

We have recently raised an angel round from 2 investors from Silicon Valley and 1 from India. We will be revealing more information about this round shortly.

Success is subjective. As far as I am concerned;

1. Create something that actually solves a problem
2. Have a long term vision but keep iterating your path until you get there. Experiment and find the path that fits best
3. No one, who has ever quit has succeeded. So keep at it and block the sceptics. If you are wrong you’ll learn. That’s the process. After all, if not now, then when?

I presume you’re referring to productivity tools. Apart from the basic apps and tools everyone uses, apps I would recommend are In Shorts, AnyDo and Asana. Keeps me and my team up to date and synchronized.

I hate procrastinating. If I have a task, I try my level best to finish it then and there

I wish I could be a little more active. There are days when I suffer from severe couch potato syndrome

One tip to success:

Define, very clearly in your head, what success means to you, give it a deadline and get the hell there. Usually, once you embark on the ride, doors start opening, take them instead of showing people the way

One mistake you believe every individual must avoid:

Being clueless about what they are into. If you venture into something, whatever maybe the reason and whatever venture, you very well master the tricks of the trade

One most important lesson that you have learnt till now:

To believe in myself. I used to second guess everything and wonder if I was capable at all. But once I went for it, things that I thought were not achievable, turned out to be within my reach

Build a community of loyal collaborative consumers and make Duffl the go to portal for re-sale and rental of fashion in the nation.
