Mandy Sidana did B.Tech. in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He has a keen interest in artificial intelligence, internet of things, web semantics, and more. Mandy started his career by working for Oracle as a software engineer.

His passion for technology took him through phases and soon, he was working as a technology architect for Sifium Tech Pvt Ltd. Realizing that most people hardly understand their feelings and emotions, Mandy conceptualized Psychd Analytics, which is a personality based social network.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

Psychd is a personality based social network that helps you unravel the intricacies of your mind, of your relationships with friends, family, and your better half. Psychd is your free online psychologist giving you insights into your personality.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

As much as we know the physical science and outer space, we hardly understand our feelings and emotions. We wanted people to get in touch with themselves. Hence, we built a platform that helps them to understand their personality, their relationships with friends and family in terms of psyche differences. Understanding the human behavior is ultimately what drives us.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Getting people to take time to take personality based scientific tests. We are now working on predicting the same with accuracy by rather using their social media streams.

How did you overcome those challenges?

People are always interested in themselves. We had to convince them to use psychology and science to do that rather than reading their horoscopes.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

We have been incubated and angel funded by Jaarvis Accelerator in Gurgaon.

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

Persistence – Ability to stick for a cause long enough

Preservation – Quality to recognise and build upon inherent values of things

Perception – Ability to think outside your own convictions and beliefs.

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

We use and recommend Trello, JIRA, Scribd, Slack and many others
