Rxpress brings an entirely new dimension to patient-centric care. It is the first of its kind comprehensive health management app in India. This mobile technology attempts to bring the international standard of medical care to patients, right in the comfort of their house.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

Rxpress is an integrated healthcare platform offering end-to-end healthcare services with unique health modules for each customer. As you know, India is witnessing a soaring growth in chronic disease. Today 53% of all deaths are accounted to chronic disease, which is expected to be 70% by 2030. In spite of all the advances in medical sciences, the perpetual challenge of raising chronic disease remains on a growth spree.

The primary reason for this growth is poor disease management. Statistical data shows that 70% of all patients do not follow the medical regime entirely as recommended by a doctor.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

I have worked all my life in the healthcare industry and I use to see that there are so many unserved areas in the healthcare industry. Though it took me 15 years to decide that I should, at least, focus on one or two areas, which can help improving the health outcomes. One area, which excited us as a team, was the challenge of rising mortality due to chronic disease. We studied the core reasons and found out that specially designed health management programs can help improving medical outcomes. Though the biggest challenge was that no patient is ready to pay for health management programs, that is where we innovated the business model are we currently offer free health management programs to our customers. Improving medical outcomes in chronic diseases is our mantra and that is what motivates us every day in our mission.

What was the most challenging part of your journey until now?

I think I am lucky to have well-experienced friends who are supporting me in this venture. I would say that we are still waiting for the most challenging part. I personally think the toughest part of our journey until now is to have a long sleep, the work keeps us excitingly busy all the times.

How did you overcome those challenges?

We are still enjoying the challenges.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business until now.

All our investments are through friends and families.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

We are a small team and we focus on enjoyment at working. While hiring people we see the people with a similar value system and people who want to achieve something big in their life.

We have very clear goal-oriented incentive and growth system, which motivates everyone to achieve those numbers.

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

Dedication, learning from failure, Transparency.

Work Planning: I think this is very crucial as a startup founder. There is suddenly plethora of work and it is extremely crucial to plan it.

Getting demotivated: If we are demotivated, it affects the entire team. It is essential to avoid any kind of demotivation rather focus on the learning’s from rejections.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

We are planning to expand Rxpress presence in at least six countries in next 3 years. With a total target of 1 million regular customers.

If you get a chance to start your career, again what would you do differently this time?

I will start as entrepreneur.
