Ekatrra (Sanskrit: In one place) is going to be a platform for discovering and featuring the best of creative talent.  As of now, we are offfering designer clothing and accessories by some of the most loved names, locally and internationally, in apparel and accessories design.

We want to base our brand on great customer services where ease of payment, customization to size, reverse pickups are some of the features in this regard. We have also recently started ‘measurement at home’ services for Gurgaon and South Delhi Area.  We understand the pain points of our customers and will try to solve them one by one.  Generally there are either too many product listings, which in itself is a pain for a serious customer looking only for premium products or there are quality Vs Price – value perception issues  in online space. We have begun by presenting only filtered product in finest of quality and best of prices. Next we target the problem of standard VsCusotmized size stitching. We offer made to size stitching option on most of our garments as these are made to order and many of our designers are accomodating of the special requirements by our customers.

The founder, KanikaYadav, has always been artistic and have had a keen eye for aesthetics. The inspiration came from her own need to look for designers clothing which was premium yet lighter on the pocket. She realised there was a very wide gap in demand and supply. While both were abound but needed to be bridged.  She envisioned Ekatrra as this bridge to cater to both sides of the spectrum while cusotmer services remain the primary focus. Being from the same space, she is well aware of the challenges that customers face,especially in online space, and is keen to resolve them with time through her online store.

Not being from tech background, the understanding of Online business has been the most challenging part of this journey.

Though I am still trying to overcome this challenge, but I  have come a long way and being a keen learner has been the key.

Ours is a very recent bootstrapping startup.

I have been fortunate enough to have a team that has stuck by, understands the startup challenges and works hard in an environment where learning and self growth is appreciated.  I think, as long as there is mutual respect and opportunity for growth, brain drain should not be a major challenge.
