MK Writes is a content development company providing content related services for diversified requirements. They are equipped with qualified, experienced and professional writers who strive consistently to deliver quality work to their clients. According to her colleagues, Kanchi is easy to work with but also takes her work seriously. She works on every project with a positive attitude and delivers timely solutions.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

MK Writes is a fully fledged integrated digital marketing and communications company.

The areas covered under our service platter include Content Writing/Development/Management Systems, Digital Marketing, Translation Services, Social Media Marketing (SMM), CV/Resume Writing, Graphic Designing, Website Designing and Development, 2D Services, 3D Services, Visual Effects, Photography, Film Making

Along with this, we are exploring different service areas too from time to time and upgrading the same in our service list.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

We started MK Writes in the year 2010. The trend of digital marketing and communications was slowly and gradually taking pace. However, there was a need gap that we had figured out during that time. While interacting with our clients we understood that each one of them was looking for a one stop platform through which they can avail every service pertaining to Digital Marketing and Communication that too ensuring high quality, 100% uniqueness and timely submissions. Thus, this gap inspired us to take a quick move and gear up to excel in this segment.

What is your life mantra?

Welcome all the adventures in your life and try not to escape them. Life is unpredictable! Remember the more you take challenges, the more you will transform into a strong and better person. Try to work out of your comfort zone and believe me you will discover a newer ‘YOU’ every time.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

In this period of 6+ years, we have understood that every single day brings different challenges on your table. Be it quality, innovation, new concepts, motivation (both self and team), leadership, productivity, etc…. anything and everything adds to be a challenging part of our journey. However, we have learnt to embrace these challenges and outshine with our passion and dedication to go beyond the conventional.

How did you overcome those challenges?

Remember there is this amazing quote: “If you can’t run, then walk, if you can’t walk, then crawl, Do what you have to do. Just keep moving forward and never give up!!!” Whenever we feel low, we just read these lines!!! And everything is just fine

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

MK Writes is a self-funded company. Till now we have never felt the need to seek investments for our company. In case we are coming up with a bigger plan in the coming future, then definitely we will seek investors for our venture.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

We believe in celebrating every small moment of success. Hence, parties keep on happening in our office or outside. We all are a big bunch of Foodies!! Hence, if nothing comes in our mind, we simply order a good sumptuous food for all!

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

According to me, in order to achieve success, an individual must:

Keep all attitude/ego/negative issues aside (both on client and team front)
Calm, composed and optimistic
Adventurous, risk taking and passionate towards work

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

Trello, SMM platform i.e. Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIN/Google+ (SMM), WordPress, Google products, SEO Tools, etc…

Share any one habit which you think makes you more productive.

Being a boss lady, I need to keep many things up-to-date both on personal as well as professional front. I keep a small notepad and a pen with me and keep noting and ticking the things undertaken on daily basis. My target: 100% completion of listed items = Productivity

Fake commitments. It is good to be true rather than telling lies.

One most important lesson that you have learnt until now

After seeing back where we had started, I have learnt this one special thing and that is “Believing in myself”.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

Firstly, we are not at all racing with anyone!!! We believe in moving slowly and steadily.However, we are aiming to strengthen our foothold both on domestic as well as international front being recognized as leading digital marketing and Communication Company.

Goa, Dalhousie & Rishikesh
