Dedication and perseverance are the two words that come to mind when you talk about Joshika. She is an enthusiastic person who always had a knack for creativity and meeting new people. After completing her BA (hons.) in English, she went on to pursue Master in mass communication and journalism. She is where her journey towards proficiency comes to the forefront.

All through her career, she has been writing prolific articles as content writer. She entered the field of public relations, after she took a job at Kamakazzi Design Studio. This is where she came across the idea to start her own brand in the PR industry. Her sheer determination and pure diligence led to the start of One PR, a premium public relations and communication company. Currently she is heading the company and looking after its operations. She aims to make it one of the top most PR agencies in the region.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

We provide strategic planning to editorial services, media relations, consulting, strategy & execution. We handle Pr for various brands and with the right target media; we help them to reach their target audience. We also do PR for events and PR paradigms, our extensive public relations services are made to suit the aspirations of the business and clients. We cater to clients in Delhi as well as other cities in India.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

I worked with various media organizations and then realized with all the hard work I put in maybe i should start something of my own. Also I come from a family with a business background so somewhere that also helped.

What is your life mantra?

Do everything with Passion or not at all. Make sure whatever you do you give your 100 percent and the results shall follow.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Starting your own work brings about many challenges. The most challenging has been reaching out to the right clientele and convincing them, we can help their brand become bigger and better.

How did you overcome those challenges?

With Experience one does overcome challenges. Take one step at a time and be content in whatever you are doing.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

Be Calm in all situations but yes make sure you handle the work, your team and clients with great confidence. With your own work comes a lot of responsibilities how you handle it is what makes or breaks you.

Being prompt and consistent is what makes you productive. Whether it’s the media queries or Client queries, I make sure it is done on time without any delays or unnecessary follow ups

Sometimes the pressure takes a toll on you so may be try to take that in one’s stride and move with the flow.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

Plan to expand my team and also plan to focus on our specialized target area in terms of clientèle. Since we already have the PR , Events and Social Media divisions in place, I also plan to add a dedicated team of Marketing Professionals.
