"Work hard enough long enough and you will spout your own miracles."

Often we ignore certain things that can fetch us immense value. Hritesh did not encounter such situation and made crores on money by recycling things that many just throw away. The 39-year-old, along with his wife Preeti, got the idea of recycling waste when a Danish tourist came to their handicraft shop and was interested in a tin chair.

Hritesh always had an eye for upcoming trends and this quality has been pivotal in his success. Although he has faced certain roadblocks in his path to success, nothing has stopped him from moving ahead. Priti International designs and manufactures various handmade products out of waste materials. They are now India’s biggest exporter of waste handicraft products, and the only one in India to export to China.

How did the idea of setting up your startup come about?

After losing all the money in previous businesses, we were totally running out of money.  All we thought at that moment was- what next. Those days we had a lot of waste material in our factory. Like old gunny bags, old drums of chemicals, etc. We tried to sell them off to collect some money for our bread and butter, but didn’t get good money, so we decided to make some items out of these waste items. And this is how our project started off.

Our product pictures to prospective customer around the world. It took around 2 years to get first order. These 2 yrs were the hardest part.
