Backed by more than 16 years of experience in the healthcare and wellness industry, Hariom Tyagi has surely created a name for himself. He is a seasoned professional and played multiple roles in marketing and communication. He also has handled nationwide operations for prestigious clients, brands, and projects pertaining to brand strategy and promotions. After completing his post-graduation in marketing, he started his career as a manager at a PR and event company. He then worked his way up gaining ample experience.

After successfully creating a business in healthcare & wellness, he initiated India’s first integrated platform for beauty & makeup service providers and service seekers ‘BeauPal.Com’. It is India’s largest search, select and interact platform for Beauty Salon, Hair, and Body Spa. It helps connect millions of customers and beauty service providers.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

BeauPal.com is India’s exclusive platform for beauty salons, spa, makeup experts in hair and skin. It helps the service providers to showcase their services, work, expertise and connect with millions of customers looking for the makeover services.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

People experience problems in selecting the appropriate service providers in beauty & makeup for hair and skin related services. The industry is not standardized and unorganized which makes people uncomfortable to find the right service providers as per the occasion or choice. We noticed that people still depends upon friends & family references for selecting the service provider for desired beauty & makeup services. The increased need and spent on beauty & makeup along with the
increased no. of customized services creates a lot of confusion for people for selecting the right service, right place as per their budget cum occasion. The idea to create an integrated platform, which helps people to connect with right service providers for the chosen service, inspired us to develop BeauPal.com.

What is your life mantra?

Earning Smiles of People. I feel that everyone deserves respect in this world and we should do nothing which can damage anyone -physically, emotionally, financially and socially.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

The majority of the service providers in beauty & makeup has not adopted the technology in their work culture which creates a big challenge for a company like BeauPal.com. In this digital era, the larger no. of service providers are not using digital communication tools like emails and they fail to connect with their potential customers.

How did you overcome those challenges?

In last one year, we have helped thousands of service providers to come on the internet and create a digital identity. The challenge still exists and BeauPal is progressively helping service providers to adopt information technology and connect with customers.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

Let people do what they like most. We allow people to do things which are of their interest and provide them a wonderful, homely, cheerful environment. Working at BeauPal is fun, it is not work.

I think I got a perfect start for my career, it has been quite a journey in terms of learning, growing with people, building a good business. So I guess, I loved the way my career started.
