If someone asks how many watches brands are there in India, the list endless. But when it comes to wooden watches, probably no name comes to mind. Haider Ali one day realized it and so TSAR Watches came into being.
TSAR is one of its kind premium wooden watch maker and seller in India. TARS not only introduced this watch category in the country, but is also defining the class for it. A perfect blend of beauty & quality, TARS offers watches for men & women both.
Despite initial hurdles, Haider Ali, along with his creative and artistic team, is making good progress with TARS watches and is planning to expand their business outside of India in coming years.
Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.
TSAR is a lifestyle brand of Premium Wooden Watches.
What inspired you to build the above product/ service?
Being a watch lover, I always thought of wearing something extraordinary. So one day the idea just struck me that if wooden watches are not available then I could do something about it myself.
What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?
After we created the product, biggest challenge was to spread awareness about TSAR watches.
How did you overcome those challenges?
Initial challenge was to get people to know about the products. Later on, the product itself resolved the challenge.
Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.
It is completely bootstrapped.
According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?
Enthusiasm, Courage, and Patient

Getting out there and just doing it. The inner voice is always shouting to get out there and get it.

I would want myself not to be workaholic.

We plan to expand TSAR Watches to all over the globe.

I would cut off strings that held me back earlier.
