Deepti is an inherited entrepreneur with a dream to make it big in her career. Ever since the start of her career, she has possessed a zeal and confidence of achieving all her aspirations. She has ample experience as in house sales professional, social media marketer, and recruitment specialist.

After completing her post-graduation in human resources, she went on to start her own startup called Advisor Uncle. She is a go-getter with art of getting things done as well as giving a direction to the company to achieve its organizational goals. The profound skills garnered by Deepti are seen to be present across several verticals in her company. Being a Co-Founder and Entrepreneur, she is heading and keeping a watch on areas like HR, Sales and Marketing.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

We are into Talent acquisition services. Our core expertise is in Banking, Sales & Marketing and Digital/Ecommerce.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

I started my career with Amity University as centre incharge. During my services at Amity University I had observed that students really struggle to find a right job and thats how Advisor Uncle started.

Since than its is more like a proud jobs which me and my team is doing. We feel really good about it that we are contributors to someone in their career.

What is your life mantra?

There is no Good or Bad Idea. Whenever you have any idea in mind just implement it.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

At times searching very high quality candidates at low budget is challenging for us.

How did you overcome those challenges?

I don’t do anything special just like I keep on doing my work and so far I am successful to achieve my objectives.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

We started in year May 2014 and it was purely self funded company. I really worked hard for first 6 months to move my office from home to well furnished office. I accomplished that in Jan 2015 and now we are team of 7 people. By end of this year we will be 10+.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

I have created a culture where in no one is bound with time and office. We are really flexible with timings and or work from home (if required) culture makes our team more productive.

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

Complete knowledge, Networking & Self confidence.

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

We use stream send emailing tool to announce our interviews update.

Share any one habit which you think makes you more productive.

I am always planned with my work. I never go to work with out planing.

One tip to success:

Learn from your breakdowns and share your learnings with your team. Have weekly meetings with them and openly share about your weekly achievements and breakdowns. Collective learning gives bigger success opportunity.

One mistake you believe every individual must avoid:

Avoid distractions while working, keep your phone wifi’s or internet off.

One most important lesson that you have learnt till now:

Always have best of knowledge. Share your experience with people who are willing to learn.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

We wanted to be on top for Digital Marketing, Banking and Sales recruitment.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

This time I would like to start with education sector. May be SAS Education.
