"Work hard and keep doing it till you are satisfied."
With an expertise in product management, leadership, analytics and market research, Atit has always shown immense dedication as well as sheer creativity. After completing his BE in electronics and instrumentation, he started his career at JP Morgan Services India. His first stint at entrepreneurship came in the form of Gigstart, a place that seeks to connect artists, and those who want to hire them.
However, his true ingenuity came to the forefront after he co-founded Pluss App. It is the fastest, easiest and most reliable on-demand medicine delivery service. It is located in Delhi and serving the whole of Delhi/NCR.
Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.
Pluss is the fastest, easiest and most reliable way to order medicines online. You can upload the photo of your prescription, select individual medicines from the prescription if you want and place an order. The medicines will reach you on the same day itself. The Pluss app also has 500+ health products including Dabur, Himalaya, Patanjali and Sri Sri Ayurveda products. The app also has the feature of booking diagnostic tests which will be performed in the comfort of your own home. The Pluss app aims to be the one solution to all your health needs!
What inspired you to build the above product/ service?
We always wanted to solve a relevant and big problem. While we were facing problems with achieving scale in gigstart, we made a list of problems that are relevant to India internet users and are high impact. Creating a healthcare exchange was one of them. It was meaningful yet challenging and had a potential to transform into a huge business.
What is your life mantra?
My life mantra is, to be honest with yourself. If you are honest with yourself, many things fall into place.
One more thing I believe in is to give anything you do a 100%. I give my 100% emotionally, physically and financially to my startup.
What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?
Many challenges, Building a great and passionate team has been the biggest challenge. Another challenge was to successfully pivot from one business to another while keeping our team intact. There was a time in between where we had exhausted all the money raised from the previous round and the newly raised capital was taking some time to hit our account. That 2-month period was very tough for us.
How did you overcome those challenges?
We overcame those challenges by not being bogged down by them. We solved them piece by piece. Our team is built over a period. We have never given up on the quality of a hire.
Once we decided that we wanted to pivot, we meticulously planned our transition. We broke the news to all our employees and took inputs from them. We explained the reason for the change to them and answered all their queries. Ultimately we were able to retain most of our staff.
During the financial crunch, all the co-founders pooled money and made sure that company is afloat and employees are paid on time. It has brought us together as a team.
Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?
Frankly, we have not faced this problem till now. We have been lucky to retain all of our good talents.
