What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

A lot has happened to me before October 2015. The quest to get the best life partner with whom chemistry will be at its best and life a beautiful journey. Speaking of starting meravivah.com, I am so motivated by my by own life story or you can say I have my struggles, my frustrations, and my own fears- along with my hopes and
dreams of getting my kind of partner, that I was compelled to launch powerful matrimony site just for people like me.

What is your life mantra?

Every morning, wake up, with a will to, WIN. In short, www towards victory!!

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Running a startup is like pushing an elephant (product) up north (success), from south (hell), while braving easterly (expectation) and westerly (criticism) winds. We sacrifice many things for our startup for better MNC life, healthy salary, family, relations and many more, hoping one day we will reach the stage where the magic
happens.

How did you overcome those challenges?

Along with personal savings, I had to mortgage my car and Vijay had to break his FD and through that fund, we built a strong enough team for product development.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

I and my co-founder Vijay Chandnani has invested our saving for product development.

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

• Follow your passion, and not just money. The money will follow (and it is fair to be motivated by it), but let that not be the only reason to start a firm.

• Be prepared for the long years of hard work. Success will take time and will have low chance (only 5% startups survive the first 24 months). Be patient.

• Make your financial plans and then raise 5X of it. Things will keep changing as you learn the business.

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

Evernote, CamCard, Workflow, HipChat

I love books. I love buying them, I love reading them, and I love writing them! Here’s the problem…often these books simply take up space on my shelf. In my mind, I envision myself sitting at a coffee shop, reading my new books, and taking copious notes of all of the insight and inspiration that burst from their pages. Don’t get me
wrong, there are many times I do read these books, and I do gain a lot of insight from them. In fact, there are many things that contribute to my success today that I was inspired to try from reading a book.

Answer in less than 50 words

• One tip to success:

Start Now – There are many factors that go into becoming a success in both your professional and personal life but the one factor that is required is taking action. Most people miss out on reaching their full potential because they never start. They are always preparing, planning and waiting for the best time to start. If I waited until I was ready, I would not have a coaching practice, a website, a blog, a workshop, etc. The stars rarely align and you will never be completely ready so just start now and adjust along the way.

• One mistake you believe every individual must avoid:

One step at a time. Don’t try to do everything at once. Reduce it to baby steps.

• One most important lesson that you have learned till now:

I can do anything. It’s a simple phrase, but it helps to remind yourself — you really can do anything you set your mind to.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

In coming three years we plan to register 100,000, KYC approved profiles, Develop a mobile application, Open physical offices within tier 2 and tier 3 cities for personalizing customer services, better infrastructure development etc.

What are your top three getaway destinations?

Istanbul (Turkey), Prague (Czech Republic), Zermatt (Switzerland)
