He has worked as Consultant with big names of construction industry, and has expertise in Project development, Planning, Earned Value Management, Execution strategies and related fields.

Besides listing top construction specialists, his venture also brings a web store to buy construction materials and home related products. Author of Project Management In a “NutShell”, Arnab Ghosh is on his way to make a name in Indian startup scene. Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

Being a home improvement and construction consultant,i have seen the struggle people go through during any construction/ interior/improvement projects, either due to extensive individual time investments for the project procurements, dealing with rude contractors, lack of knowledge makes them re do works and hassled out. The idea is inspired by the thought and need of making the industry transparent and easily accessible for people who wish to switch to better living without nightmares.

What is your life mantra?

Dream with your eyes open!

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

The prime challenge was perspective and inertia of resellers, construction product manufacturers and dealers. Most of these people connected to construction do not think internet is good enough for any thing apart from Facebook and google and their products can never sell on internet for reasons only known to them. we made them understand when people are abundantly buying wearables, which has greater concern of their liking and comfort, then why a product like cement, wires and pipes where the major point is necessity and specifications , can’t be offered online?

The next challenge we face is awareness to people that .. yeah.. now they can also buy all sort of home improvement products online.

How did you overcome those challenges?

We performed, practiced and re-performed!

What are your plans for next 3 years?

We wish to make well set operations in Delhi – Ncr with volumes and branding then pan india operations covering mumbai, bangalore and chennai respectively. As this covers 70% of premium household markets in india. where rocket homes can do wonders.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

I will not be extravagant!
