Anar D Rupji often calls himself entrepreneur by choice, having a passion for innovating. He has a diverse experience in the field of Education, Information Technology, Cyber Security, and Media Research. According to him, the value should be first created and the shared. He also believes knowledge should be open, not FREE; there is a great degree of confusion in people of systems being open and free.

After serving at top executive positions at several organizations, he ventured out to launch his own startup. Therefore is a Techno-Marketing company with a core focus on Offline to Online Marketing Automation. It captures last mile information of the customer interacting with a brand across all media platforms and in real-time. Anar is a detail-oriented manager who watches the balance sheet like a hawk without ever losing sight of the strategic objective. He has very good leadership and managing people, is very much techno perceptive, always think do something new with latest technologies.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

TC&S is an umbrella brand under which we have brands:

  • AKD- Abra Ka Dabra –Hyper Local Market Place
  • AIMS – Offline To Online Ad Engine
  • Buzz Angels – Digital PR Measurement Too
  • Artha – Free Wifi In Public Places
  • 3rd Space – Free Wifi In Malls
  • Impart – System Which Understands Customer offline Interaction with Brands
  • Cognitive – Ad Expenditure Measurement System.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

While being employed with advertising industry for over a decade, I realized there are some links which are still missing in increasing brand visibility of products. Hence, I decided to work on an idea where I can provide a holistic solution to firms, which are looking to get visibility to their prospective customers and optimizing their marketing expenses.

What is your life mantra?

Be the epitome of change and acceptability and help others to walk along and be the co-passengers in my journey of success.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

The first biggest challenge was actually to make this concept get on the floor from being just a few scribbles on paper and the second biggest challenge was to get a team in place who would buy the idea of creating such product.

How did you overcome those challenges?

To overcome these challenges, I gained the faith of like-minded people who worked on this project to make it a success. After all this juggle, my persistence and patience paid off.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

Most of the Investments are from family and friends, and then there are bootstrapping funds from a Financial Investor in Chennai.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

Brain Drain is effective on people who do not have a vision to their dreams. Being absolutely motivated towards your Aim and being completely drenched in making it come true, you avoid distractions on the path. Once you make the difficulties on the way as your motivational factors, the chances of Brain Drain reduce to Zero Percent.

My Company hires young innovators, who do have the knowledge and ability to showcase their talent and are looking for mentors to let them be at their creative best. The company has the flexibility of timings and gives the employees the space to be at their creative best. At the same time, we work as closely bonded family, where they feel at home and deliver their best even under pressure.

We also organize friendly gatherings very often to strengthen the bonds among employees and work towards the common goal of success and growth.

I personally use and recommend these three amazing apps, which are knowledgeable and act as a support system to us; they are Flip board, Streak, and Asana.
