All roads that lead to success have to pass through hard work boulevard at some point. Amit Bharana took cognizance of this fact at a very early stage and has been abiding by the same ever since. His ingenuity and perseverance have been the driving force behind his success. After completing his BBA in finance and marketing, he went on to pursue his MBA. He then gained ample experience at a construction industry. With ecommerce sector gaining prominence in India, he seized the opportunity
and started to mull the idea of jumping on the startup bandwagon.

This is when he launched Just Delivr, an ecommerce platform, which eases shopping things for your everyday home needs. Using the platform users can do mobile or DTH recharges, phone or landline bill payments, grocery, kitchenware, pet products, health and beauty items etc.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

JustDelivr provides the customer a virtual house manager that takes care of all his daily household needs under one roof! It helps in making mobile or DTH recharges, payments for landline or postpaid bills and lets them buy grocery to kitchenware and health care to pet care products on a single platform. It has a range of products from all walks of life, in order to meet the endless demands of a house maker. JustDelivr is an established online marketplace, where there is a direct contact between customers and their existing merchants (Kiranawalas) in the local vicinity.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

There are many factors which inspired me to build this, few among them are I found that in the era of the internet revolution, the small vendors and small towns etc. are sidelined and ignored. There is a big gap and vacuum in the market. The retailers and farmers who are the backbone of our country, who are getting lost somewhere in front of these big ecommerce companies and large brick & mortar corporates so to save them from getting demolished or lost, I took this step with all the motive and thought to give it back to the society.

What is your life mantra?

Meditation followed by hard work is the only key to success.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

The Most challenging part was to train the merchants. It was also difficult to manage their expectation and hopes from our platform.

How did you overcome those challenges?

We created a team, did a lot of surveys to understand the expectation & requirement, after compiling them on the board, it was all converted into a software and app. We did satisfy these merchants before even launching the beta version.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

We are bootstrapped, have not raised any funding so far. So business is currently self-funded.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

All top organization is formed only by the effort of teamwork. The team is formed only when we create a family at work. This is the basic or the first step before you give any shape to the new idea. This involves an equal level of commitment, dedication, focus and right person at the right job. As long as there is a clear vision and a successful future for the work force and idea, none of them would leave you away.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

To focus on creating a bigger family at work, empower & digitize every merchant and form one of the largest community of buyers and sellers at JustDelivr.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

I’d love to practice as a lawyer.
