Aashtha has always been a go-getter person who never takes no for an answer. One day she realized that in spite of the ecommerce boom, there was very little going in the baby sector where mothers found it hard to find clothes for their toddlers. Afer completing her bachelors in informatics Practices, she went on to pursue her MBA in international business. This gave her ample credence to start her own business. She has a eye for quality, which is the core driver behind her business. Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

We are a boutique dedicated to kids clothing and accessories. We have a wide spectrum of products which include western and traditional clothes for children of different age groups along with various funky and party wear accessories.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

I have always seen mothers worried about buying clothes for their kids because in India it is not easy to find good fashionable dresses for babies in every city. I am myself a mother to twins and I have faced it all myself which helped me realize the unattended demand in the market and I started with this business.

What is your life mantra?

My life mantra is to excel in whatever I do. I take life as it comes and look for opportunities as life comes to me and don’t hesitate to make the best out of it. I strongly believe “Dreams aren’t those that you see while sleeping, dreams are those that don’t let you sleep~ APJ Abdul Kalam”

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Well, it has all been an intense learning process for me. The toughest part I would say was to come up with a collection which serves mothers with different tastes and preferences. I have worked hard on my range to make it rich and wholesome.

How did you overcome those challenges?

I am very particular about what products to exhibit to ensure that my collection is unique and attractive. I also make sure that I pay quality attention to the needs and complaints of my customers which are always helpful in meeting toughest challenges.

I learn everyday but one very important lesson is that you need to keep changing with time. There is nothing constant and so you also need to improvise and get better with time or else you are going to lose your chance to win.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

I plan to optimize the technology to take PinkBlueIndia.com to higher levels. We already have a wonderfully performing online store but I would like to make it more vibrant by expanding the product offerings and services so that more and more people can connect with us. The idea is to showcase exclusive and largest range of products for children.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

If I am given this chance then I would surely be a lot more organized than what I was when I started with this venture. Now I know the importance of prior planning which is very much important in proper execution. This time I would go stepwise in an organized fashion.

What are your top three getaway destinations?

I love nature and serenity and look for places where I can simply relax and also party. For me, the three top getaway destinations are Prague, Paris & Goa
