However, one person is trying to change that aspect with a platform that helps buyers book and buy property with much ease. Vikas Joshi has been in the real estate sector for long enough to understand challenges faced by home buyers and investors. In order to eradicate these hurdles, Vikas launched Searchahome.in, an online platform that bridges the gap between builders, owners, and buyers.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

Searchahome.in is a real estate portal which brings together builders and buyers on the same platform where there is 100% clarity in deals. Here buyers can contact builders directly to get best deals with great offers and service without any middleman. Our aim is to provide best possible option to the buyers that’s why we focus on quality projects rather then quantity of projects. Many real estate portals prefer quantity over quality and makes buyers confuse in choosing that’s why we try to keep only quality projects in our portal to keep client more focus in what he or she is looking for.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

In real estate market there are lots of complaints by buyers that they feel cheated after booking in any particular project this is not because of builder`s fault but it is because of wrong commitment by broker who gave them wrong or expensive deal. At that time most probably buyer already make 20% or 30% payment to the builder and can`t cancel the deal so he feel he has taken the wrong step by investing in that project and unintentionally start saying negatives things about builder in his friend circle and relations and in this whole thing builder`s reputation suffers unnecessarily without his fault.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

When we start our portal in Sep 2014 many people raise doubts about our capabilities that how wecan grow in online real estate market when there are already so many real estate portals and many peoples are not convinced about the BROKER FREE portals where buyers can talk directly with the builders but after 1 years we prove many people wrong.

How did you overcome those challenges?

Investing more time to make our portal more user friendly.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

We are a self funded startup but now we are looking for some outside investment to invest aggressively in sales, branding and marketing of searchahome.in. Until now we have invested substantially in product development and improve the quality of our portal now we want to take next step in building brand and to use latest technologies for better user experience.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

Team motivation and making job environment better by giving equal growth opportunities and creating healthy competition in the company with satisfactory salary package.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

I will try to correct mistakes which i have made earlier in my career.
