Creativity, objectivity and relentless pursuit for perfection are synonyms when it comes to defining Sneh Sharma. Her spirit of entrepreneurship is commendable. She has envisioned and implemented numerous successful campaigns and helped devise Promotional and ORM-focused Digital Media strategies for clients worldwide. During her MBA in marketing, she was constantly involved as an evangelist for many companies. Her burning desire to be the best and a ‘never take no for an answer’ approach have earned her the respect of her clients.

In order to harness her success in digital media she went on to start her own company called Ittisa. Before it she also co-founded, Webenza with a vision to create healthy and happy brands. She specializes in design, campaign, digital media services, social media marketing and content creation. Ittisa is touted as the first ever only-girls digital media agency driven by creative, innovative and unrealistic works possible.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

Ittisa is the first ever ‘all girls’ Digital Media agency. Our main focus lies on Design, Digital & Analytics along with Technology. We utilize the advertising space to help businesses ease into the list of the most easily recognizable brands.

All our projects are creatively inspired and technically & analytically empowered.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

Over the years, I have worked with a number of digital marketing start-ups and multinationals, developing a strong understanding about the industry; what works and what doesn’t in the space of Digital Media Marketing. This eventually inspired me to start my own firm. What makes us stand apart is our strong sense of design, concept and ability to add analytics and technology to the business solutions.

What is your life mantra?

There is no force equal to that of a determined woman.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

The general lack of trust on young entrepreneurs in the business world. This mistrust further aggravates when the person concerned is a woman.

How did you overcome those challenges?

The resolve and the readiness to walk that extra mile has worked well for me in overcoming these obstacles.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

We have not received any funding so far. Though the offers keep coming in, we want to take our time to analyze and strategize before we opt for one.

We are not just looking for someone to fund us without any contribution to the business. The money should come with an additional business advantage in terms of experience, consulting etc.

How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?

At Ittisa we have developed a culture of support. We make sure our employees are given their due recognition to make them feel satisfied at work. We also make sure that there is continuous transfer of knowledge so as not to make the loss of one employee bring the company to a standstill.

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

  • A passion for their dreams,
  • The courage to go after it and
  • The perseverance needed to keep it going.

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

  • Simplify360 to track conversations
  • Whatsapp for quick conversations
  • Trello for work management
  • Google drive, Dropbox and We Transfer for data sharing.

Share any one habit which you think makes you more productive.

I run routines because without structure it’s easy to let non-essential things get in the way of actual work. So, by creating a routine I take the guess work out of what to do and focus on just doing it right.

Share any one habit which you wish to change in yourself.

I wish I were less impulsive and more calculative in the steps I take.

Answer in less than 50 words

One tip to success:

You are your own architect, not what others make you. So make sure you follow your passion and put your heart and soul into achieving whatever it is that you have set your mind upon.

One mistake you believe every individual must avoid:

Failure shouldn’t hinder you from going after your dreams. You may fail, fall or even get hurt but that’s all part of life. Just be prepared for all the hurdles and bounce back when they hit.

One most important lesson that you have learnt till now:

For every action there is an equal & opposite reaction. Plus, a social media over reaction. On social media you become the voice of brands and you can’t afford to make mistakes. Because whatever happens on social media remains on Google forever.

What are your plans for next 3 years?

Our plan is to become the most respected firm in India and of the World for Creativity and Design with strong sense of Technology and Analytics.

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

Digital space is what I love. So I would stick to this industry, without doubt. What I would do is educate myself with the experience I have so as not to repeat the mistakes I made earlier.

What are your top three getaway destinations?

Rather than destinations, what I love most is going for car rides on new, unexplored roads.
