After about seven successful years into my career in the trading industry, it became obvious to me that I wanted a career shift but not in the same industry, mainly to connect with more people and attain a broader perspective of life. And back around 2006, I saw a significant void in the travel industry; guests used to book hotels in advance but not tours and packages. With the right time and opportunity, we leaped in and managed to get off the ground in a short space of time.

Just like every start up, there were quite a number of hindrances, from lack of financial support and a feasible business model to difficulty in setting up goals and getting the right talents. But the greatest among the lot were to know our customers’ demands.

Rayna Tours and Travels is a full-service destination management company, with its main office in Dubai and branches across UAE, India, Malaysia and Singapore. We’re a specialist in crafting bespoke, budget-centric travel related services and offer visa services, hotel reservation, car rental, sightseeing tours, desert safaris, holiday packages, and MICE. Through our online b2b portal (Raynab2b), we also help travel agents, tour operators, and other key travel enterprises to grow their business and create a loyal customer base.

Perceptibly, our valued customers. Through our effort to continually improve the compelling service portfolio and upgrade both online and offline customer support system, we’ve now earned a massive customer base which is certainly our strong point.

As with the case of most entrepreneurs, the main obstacle was to convert my imagination to conception and then secure the trust of customers. Without any proven track record, the company’s performance and stability were totally unpredictable. Fortunately, over the time, we were able to place things in right perspective mainly through the extensive market study and research, the execution of foolproof business strategy, and the hiring of right talents.

Instead of expecting big right from the launch, start small, develop and then flourish. It’s quite a fruitful experience to see your entity grow step by step.

In next three years, we envision to strengthen our brand visibility and see it emerging into one of the key players on global level.
