Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

Fusion Analytics World is world’s first ever one stop platform for big data, data mining, data science, and business analytics and data visualization. The word “Fusion” stems from “Data Fusion” which is process of integration of multiple data and knowledge representing the same real-world object into a consistent, accurate, and useful representation. “Encyclopedia” meaning “complete knowledge”. The website is aimed to create a highly passionate community obsessed with everything Data Science, Big Data, Data Mining, and Business Analytics & Visualization.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

There was lack of one stop platform for everything on analytics in the market. My plan was to come up with a platform where one can access everything on analytics under one umbrella right from content to jobs, courses, startups, events, interviews, whitepaper, databases etc

What is your life mantra?

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

Finding adequate time to work on quality content and market the brand since I have to juggle between by day job and my website ‘Fusion Analytics World’

How did you overcome those challenges?

My family had been always supportive of anything I do. They have supported me right from the day I first conveyed that I want do something for the analytics community and the best way is to build a one stop platform for everything on analytics. They are boosting me all the time. Also they are extending their support in brainstorming activities, marketing initiatives etc.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

Currently we are in bootstrapping stage. I have used my own funds to run the website

According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?

Ability to work hard, never lose sight of the target whatever be the challenges faced, chase your dream and back your intuition…success with definitely comes your way

Which online tools/ services/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

I use ‘R’ programming software the most for analytics related work. I recommend it to readers as well; it is open source software and is highly used by the analytics community due to ease of use and open source

Share any one habit which you think makes you more productive.

Time management is very critical; I keep a timeline for each activity, plan it right at the start of the day and just execute it

Too much work sometimes means you spend less time with family, I definitely wish I could spend more time with near and dear ones

What are your plans for next 3 years?

Increase more features/menu on the website based on the community’s demand, generate revenue through services and achieve couple of million dollar revenue with 11-50 employee strength

If you get a chance to start your career again what would you do differently this time?

Make my entrepreneurial debut right after passing out, but as the saying goes… experience comes in handy and with 10+ years of experience I am more matured and in a way more experienced to understand the risks and make calculated moves
