Almost 6+ years ago, I along with my team realized a huge future potential in India’s growing health and wellness industry. At that point of time, there was no brand in the Indian market that sold the promise of good health to the urban consumer. Thus, GAIA was conceived to provide a healthier living experience to the world to coincide with the emerging health consciousness. Since its inception, GAIA has been able to successfully formulate its products to cater to the growing health & wellness needs of the people.

I believe that health is the most important aspect of one’s life. But in today’s world, it has to be delivered palatable and conveniently. This simple and effective approach has helped GAIA become one of India’s fastest growing health and wellness brand. Today, we have over 20 products in our portfolio, a strong presence in modern trade and are present in over 10,000 outlets across 16 states in the country. All this has been achieved in just less than five years!

Health is Wealth!

Obstacles and challenges are a part and parcel of life, especially when one is trying to break through an industry which is still at a very nascent stage. Nonetheless, the health and wellness industry has a huge potential for the future. It is only in the past 5 years that everyone has realized the importance of wellness in our lives. The obstacles lie in educating the consumer about taking care of themselves with GAIA products.

By minimizing wastage of time, money and effort focusing our resources strategically and making sure that the brand was visible to the right consumer at the right place and at the right time.

GAIA has successfully been able to withhold and conduct its business through internal accruals.

In today’s time, many of us get sucked into our work and that takes a toll on our mental health. Whenever I feel stressed out, I find solace in music or by hitting the gym and sweating it out.

Our company’s attrition rate is less than 20%. At GAIA, we believe in retaining our team and keeping them happy. Our company structure is fluid and flexible which gives our team the opportunity to come up with new ideas and experiment with them. I believe that this process energizes the entire workplace and makes the team more motivated to do an excellent job!

Passion – One can never go far in life without passion for their work.

Hunger and ability to go that extra mile- By this I mean a commitment to your work. One needs to go all out in order to achieve success.

Value and Ethics – It is very important that one never loses his/her values along the way. In the long run, it is our ethics and values that help us grow and achieve success.

I believe in using services that help me connect with people, both professionally and personally. Apps like Twitter, Linked In and Facebook are wonderful since they not help one keep in touch with others but also, allow one to showcase their views, opinion, interests and activities in all forms of content…video, audio, text.

My work involves meeting people from different walks of life and working with them. As someone who is a people’s person, I believe my strength lies in my ability to become and connect to the person I am conversing with. Hence, I am able to form strong and long-term relationships with people I work with.

I would certainly like to be more regular with my exercise since that calms me down and helps me to be more focused.

On the road to success, many individuals often lose focus and let success get to them. One should always remain humble and never let success get to their head.

Change is inevitable.

We wish to become urban India’s most consumed health and wellness brand; this is my dream for GAIA. I would also take GAIA Lite and GAIA Sport to the next level in the coming years

I don’t believe I would like to do anything differently. However, if given another chance to start my career I would have found myself investing my time and efforts in giving back to society. I am very passionate about educating the youth of our country and saving our environment. Nonetheless, I can still do all this at this stage of life as well.

I’ve always loved places which are sunny. My top three getaways are Maldives, New Zealand and Santorini, Greece.
